I am sitting in my office about to start my work day. I have just finished the second phase of my morning meditation. I feel so alive... my body is vibrating and my mind is clear. I remember before my meditation I was lying in bed just thinking about how sexy my bed feels.
My bedroom is a captivating, inviting, and sensual space. The king size bed is 12 inches of memory foam bliss covered in delightfully soft 800 count Egyptian cotton sheets, numerous pillows, and a fluffy comforter that beckons you to lie on the bed when it is fully made.
The smell of my favorite incense lingers in the air. The warm spicy brown and pumpkin butter colors of the walls look lovely in the day, but softly lit at night. The room transforms into a place to relax or for passionate lovemaking... sometimes both as we cuddle, laugh, and talk in between rounds of incredible sex.
Needless to say waking up in the morning and remembering all of the happy experiences I have enjoyed in my haven brings an easy smile to my face. I step out of bed feeling very joyous and sexy. Yes, sexiness and joy can share the same space in your heart and mind. So, as I am going through my morning routine, I decide today is going to be a day of simple decadence...
I am not a big breakfast eater. I usually enjoy a salad or fruit as my morning meal, So, today, for breakfast I select an avocado. Perfect choice, I enjoy the taste of a perfectly ripe avocado. Have you ever sat down with a spoon and freshly cut avocado? I highly recommend you do... absolute bliss : )
I believe in savoring my food so, I observe the color, smell, and creamy texture of the fruit. Then, I carefully dip my spoon inside and scoop out my first bite. I taste it then, let it dissolve on my tongue before I begin to chew. The flavor is subtle, but deep... the texture... extra creamy.
I continue to eat, enjoying every bite. When done I lick the spoon and smile. What a fabulous way to start my day... with a delicious piece of fruit and clear mind. I feel creative and playful. I know today is going to be an amazing day.
I am standing in the kitchen smiling and think... this is a yummy way to start my day. I strongly suggest each of you try at least once a week to savor your morning. I can guarantee. You will discover a whole new level of experiencing your life that will encourage you to find other ways to enjoy yourself.
Wishing you many blessings and a day filled with laughter and at least one blissful moment,

Celebrating the Goddess Within
Did you know that the first Deity statue ever found was of a Goddess. Some of the most prominent cave paintings are paintings of a voluptuous fertility Goddess. Goddess worship has been around for eons and men gladly celebrated her along with the women of their tribes. For centuries, women were appreciated, loved, and sought after for their wisdom. Men figured we must be magical because, every month we bled for days and did not die. Sounds pretty magical to me as well.
Girls looked up to their elders for guidance and eagerly anticipated the day when they too would receive their monthly flow and become an honored and welcomed member of the "Red Tent". They anxiously awaited their turn to experience their rite of passage. To join the ranks of the beautifully decorated, noble, and wise women of their tribes. We, in all of our so-called modern wisdom, call these ceremonies primitive and unnecessary. Some of the more extreme ones I might agree with you, but the ones that encourage excitement, self-confidence, and pride in girls I feel are very appropriate. They teach young girls to be happy and proud of their womanhood and remind the rest of us to rejoice in our sacred Goddess Divinity.
I want to bring back rite of passage ceremonies for young girls and adult women. I want to find a way to guide us back to the strong genetic and spiritual ties we had to Mother Earth and Sister Moon. A time when we happily and openly celebrated our bodies and depth of spirit. I want us to remember how we felt so strong, loved, and cherished within ourselves. And how, we joyfully recognized each other as co-creators and sisters of grace and wisdom.
I want us to feel excited about our monthly menstrual cycle. It is such a powerfully creative time for us, but sadly in our modern world it is often neglected. We have been taught to hate our bodies and nearly every function that makes us uniquely female. We expect to experience pain and so; we experience pain. We ignore our sacred vessel and it falls apart from years of neglect. We feel betrayed by our bodies, but it has done nothing wrong. It has silently and courageously done its best to survive; to give when too often it has received so little in return for the miracles it performs for us daily.
I want us to fall in love with ourselves again. I want us to joyfully celebrate our bodies. I want us to treat our bodies with dignity and the respect it deserves. I want us to listen to the quiet whisper of our intuition and the wisdom that it shares with us daily. I want us to feel free to explore all the dark and light corners of our precious feminine existence and to find our way back to the blessed and glorious Goddesses that we are.
It will not happen overnight, but if you are willing to pull back the veil and peek around the corner. You may discover something wonderful about yourself. Take a moment and think of something that you admire about yourself. You are a magical being... please do not allow the mundane madness of modern life dim your presence.
I honor you and wish for you many blessings and the fulfillment of your dreams,

The Joy of Having Great "Sister" Friends.
Hello everyone,
How are you?
It has been a busy week for me. I have spent a portion of my time writing this week and finally learning how to record videos on my computer. Yes, I have decided to improve my technical skills... lol.
Oh my goodness, I could do an entire stand up comedy routine on how little I know about my Apple/Mac computer. It is amazing. I will periodically hit some unseen button and the computer will be something amazing that I have never seen before and will not see again until I decide to take the time to view the tutorials.
Now, that is a great idea. View the tutorials and learn how to get the most out of my computer : ) That is like asking me to read the manuals of any electronic product I purchase. Too easy : )
Anyway, this week I did decide it was time for me to learn how to use the various products I own. So, I have been playing with my cameras, learning how to create video on my Mac and Facebook. It has been an interesting week, to say the least.
All this unfamiliar work kept me indoors and yesterday I decided I had had enough. I needed to go outside and enjoy the day. I got ready for the day then, did my meditation and prayers. I asked my Angels and guides "What is the theme for today." The answer came back "FUN".
Fun, okay... I can do this. I generally have a good time regardless of what I am doing, but I decided I wanted share some quality time with my "sisters". I got on the phone and called my girls. I told them what came up in today's meditation and I wanted to share this with them.
They were happy to hear from me and thought yes, let's get together and have some fun. So, in the middle of the afternoon we all rearranged our schedules to spend some quality time together at our favorite Starbucks.
I got there first and saved a table for us. Then, one by one they started to arrive. It was amazing. Each one of them greeted me with a hug and a kiss... They were glowing. The happiness and joy they felt was incredible. I was only expecting 2 of my girls, but the universe had other plans. 2 become 4 then, 4 become 5. Even one of my guy friends happened to be in the area and joined us for awhile.
We sat there talking, laughing, giggling like a bunch of school girls. The energy we generated was so inviting that I noticed people kept trying to find a way to sit closer to us. I would look up and see people smiling at our little group. It was a wonderful feeling because, I realized by spending happy and lively time together, we were creating a pleasant environment for others.
I looked around the table and I gave thanks for these ladies. I came to S FL without family and friends here place. One by one, they have become a joyful and miraculous part of my life. The thought made me smile.
But, after a few hours of hanging out, we realized we needed to return to the"real" world and said our cheerful good byes. Then, we headed off in different directions feeling happier and more content. It was a priceless moment during a lovely afternoon spent with loved ones, I felt truly blessed.
So, here is my question... Who are "Sister" Friends that you are most thankful to have in your life? Think about it and give them a quick call just to say I love you and am thankful you are a part of my life.
You never know your phone call may provide her with a much needed smile.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Cyndi
